A man has been left gobsmacked after coming across a hidden gem in the charity shop when searching around for fun. He explained how he visited his local Goodwill store while he was in the area, not expecting to come away with anything of interest.
But much to his surprise, he found a signed action figure of American stand-up comedian and actor Gabriel Iglesias on on sale for just $2.99 (£2.22). He said on Reddit: "Found a signed Gabriel Iglesias action figure at Goodwill and he confirmed it was his signature on Twitter." After seeing the post, Iglesias said: "Yes, I only made 1,000 of those and you found one for $2.99 at Goodwill. It's humbling."
On eBay, the exact same signed action figure is currently on sale for $79.99 (£59.37), leaving him with a healthy profit if he ever decides to part with the collectable item.

Commenting on his post, one user said: "Nice! I got a different one signed by him and someone else at a concert a few years ago, unsure who actually signed this one."
Another user added: "I wonder if the original owner of the action figure meant to donate it or if their spouse/relative gave it away without asking."
A third person said: "Fluffy is a very humbling person. He's a funny man. He has his own entertainment company that supports local comedians and has appeared on a few films. Congrats on a great find."
One more wrote: "I'm surprised more people don't know who Gabriel Iglesias is, he's a big comedian."
Another user chimed in: "I hope he doesn't feel too bad about it being at goodwill. Maybe the original owner died."
While a further person added: "Those were sold at his shows back in like 2013. If you bought one, you got to hang around after the show and get a picture with him.
"Bought one at his show and got a picture with him. Still have the 'action' figure on my shelf."
A final user said: "Oh man I love that guy. I have a few pictures with him and one where I’m hugged up on him with tongue sticking out... I’m a guy (alcohol involved), and another where he is passed out on stage after a bunch of shots."
It comes after a woman shared her delight after buying a £6 bag from a charity shop - only to discover an unexpected surprise inside it when she got it home.
The woman, who had simply bought the burgundy bag because she liked its design and thought it would complement her wardrobe.
On Reddit, she said: " The most exciting thrift day ever! That doesn't even include the clothes I found. It's crazy that some people just donate things without checking!"
